All good things must come to an end. In I’m sure what will leave her American fans with a bit of sadness in their hearts, Beyonce announced that last nights show in Lisbon would be the last show of The ‘Mrs. Carter World Tour’.
Beyonce keeps finding ways to keep her name abuzz in the media. Not only is the mega-star on the third leg of her sold-out international tour, the Mrs. Carter World Tour, today she released the Behind The Scenes footage of her recording some of the video’s from her visual album ‘Beyonce’.
Beyonce´is still overseas on the Mrs. Carter World Tour snatching wigs left and right on a nightly basis. Her hubby Jay-Z joined her at Friday’s show at the London 02 Arena.
Take a look at the performance below:
As long as I’ve been a fan of Beyonce´, she never ceases to amaze me. I think about her often when I’m at work. I know that sound funny. In my profession, I do the same thing over and over, all day. Within the first few hours of work, I become bored with in because of the redundancy. I don’t necessarily like repetition. But then, I think of Bey and how she performs the same show 4 to 5 times a week and gives 100% each time. You can never tell that she is bored, if she is. So, I apply that to my life. I’ve been blessed to have the profession that I am in (talking about my day job). So, why not give 100% all the time. Yes, it’s redundant, but it’s also my bread and butter. And whenever I am not giving my all, I am robbing someone else of their potential to be great. I would like to think the same of Bey. When she feels herself wanting to stop, she thinks of her fans, her supports, her colleagues, her mentors and keeps on going. There are plenty of other things she could be doing. She definitely has the means to stop, but its the love for her job and the passion that ignites the energy.
So, if you take away anything from this post, take this: Be great at whatever you do, whether you like it or not. There are always people watching. Let your passion to achieve you goals and dreams ignite and blast you into your destiny.
Beyonce is currently on the MRS CARTER SHOW WORLD TOUR. Last night the singer performed “Blow” from her latest self-titled album
Let me just say that “Blow” is one of my favorite songs and for more than one reason. I was lucky enough to be at the Video Shoot for the song. And I must say that it is an experience that I will forever cherish and never forget.
The video was shot here in Houston, TX at the Fun Plex skating rink. A lot of people were there, including the ladies that performed with her at the Super Bowl last year. Hype Williams directed, Kim Kimble was her hair stylist, Frank Gatson assisted in directing, and Todrick Hall choreographed.
It was AMAZING to see all of her dancers up-close and personal. Les Twins are amazing and brilliant, as well as her other dancers. Jay-Z even stopped through for a while. Everything you would see on a Beyonce DVD was there. Truly breath-taking experience. Of course, we weren’t allowed to use our cell-phones and, looking back, I’m glad about it. We really had the opportunity to soak up everything around us. It’s not often that anyone can say that they’ve met Beyonce. I can. 🙂
Her work ethic is everything that everyone says it is. She went none stop and was a part of every aspect of the video recording process. Being around her and her team made me want to be better. And it all played a major reason as to why I am FINALLY doing what I want to do; hence, the launch of justinjamaul.com & The Mr. Fancy Collection.
Hopefully, I will work with her and her team again in the future.
Until then, check out the performance of “BLOW”.
