Congratulations are in order for Kelly Rowland. She recently gave birth to her first born son, Titan Jewell Weatherspoon. This morning, Rowland posted a song dedicated to her son. Check it out after the jump!
Finally something I can TWERK FOR JESUS with!!!! Michelle Williams released the stellar video for her latest single “Say Yes” featuring her former Destiny’s Child bandmates Beyonce and Kelly Rowland.
Kelly Rowland released a new song title “The Game” today in a effort to support the new feature film ‘Pepsi Beats of the Beautiful Game’. The song will be featured on the soundtrack along with 10 other anthemic songs by various artist.
Pepsi Beats of the Beautiful Game is the world’s first visual soundtrack made up of 11 anthemic songs and companion short films, or ‘film tracks’, that capture the indelible spirit of the world’s most popular game –futbol.
Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child release a new track from her upcoming “Journey To Freedom” gospel release.
The track features both Kelly Rowland and Beyonce. If I do say so myself, it’s a very hot track. Kelly shut it down!
“Talk a Good Game” was the 4th solo studio album from Destiny’s Child front woman Kelly Rowland. TAGG was released June 14, 2013 and served as the last album the singer would released under the Universal Republic record label.
TAGG opened at number 4 with 68, 000 copies sold. As of August 2013, ‘Talk A Good Game’ has sold 140,000 copies in the United States and, as of December 2013, 215,000 copies worldwide.
Singer Joe released a Bille Woodruff directed video today featuring none other than Kelly Rowland. Is it me, or did I or no one else know that Joe had an album out??? Apparently, it came out in 2013 entitled DoubleBack: Evolution of R&B.
The video is cute. I must admit, Joe still has that voice. Once upon a time, he was one of my favorite singers. Then, he fell off. I guess I should head over to the Tunes of I and see what this album talking’ ’bout.
Take a look below:
After only 3 short season on the FOX network, X-Factor USA has been cancelled. IS IT ME, or am I the only one that wasn’t aware this show even came on? Even it I did, I probably wouldn’t have watched it. With both American Idol and The Voice having strong viewerships, it was definitely hard for a third show to come in and gain any grounds of relevancy. Simon Cowell, creator of the show, who also was once THE popular judge on IDOL assumed he could use his name alone to keep the show alive, but clearly that wasn’t enough.
Recently, we’ve seen him add superstar Kelly Rowland to the judging panel, BUT like I stated there really was not any room for another show like this on network TV. Ms. Kelly also judged the show over in London on the original X-Factor. Maybe Cowell perceived that she could bring the shows popularity over into the US. Unfortuneately that did not work.
Statements were released from network execs on last evening and Cowell shorty following. See below.
Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment at FOX
“Unfortunately, there is no X Factor USA without Simon Cowel. But we understand and support his decision to focus on the international formats and on the next phase of his personal life. We wish him the very best, and it’s our sincere hope that we work together again soon.“
“I’ve had a fantastic time over the last 12 years, both on The X Factor and American Idol. And apart from being lucky enough to find some amazing talent on the shows, I have always had an incredible welcome from the American public (most of the time!).” The sometimes-acerbic judge added, “I also want to thank everybody who has supported my shows. America, I’ll see you soon!”
