Daniel 9:23 says, “The moment you began praying, a command was given.”
This post is just to briefly encourage you guys to not give up on your prayers. Sometimes, especially after you’ve prayed for something for a long time, it’s easy to become discouraged. The enemy will tell you, “God must not want you to have that thing you are praying for,” or “you aren’t ready yet.” But there is joy in Daniel 9:23, which says, “The moment you began praying, a command was given.”
Isn’t that good news? God will never ignore you prayer. He always sends a response. The response may or may not take some time to get to you, but it is on the way! So whomever you are, wherever you are, do not give up on your prayers. God hears you. The answer is on the way!
To be brief, I can share this. About three weeks ago, I received some disappointing news about something I’d been praying on for quite some time. Immediately, I became discouraged. I was walking down the hall at work and another believer stopped me and struck up a conversation. Not to get into the details, but I will say that I left that conversation feeling encouraged and recharged.
That night when I made it home, I prayed like I’d never prayed before. I began to remind God of his promises to me. I reminded God of how faithful I had been in my tithes, with my talents, and with my ministry. You should have seen my going on and on. I can laugh about it now, but I was as serious as I could be.
As I was reflecting on that moment today, Daniel 9:23 came to mind. Not even a week after I prayed, God answered my prayer, or I should phrase that, the answer to my prayer made it to me.
You all will read about this experience when I release my new project, but until then stay encourage.
You prayers are not mute. God hears them and He has already sent your response with his Angels. “It’s on the way!”
I’ll let you shout right there!
In Jesus name, amen!
