“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
It’s been four months since I’ve blogged… wow. First of all, hey Fancy Friends. I’ve missed you all so much. I’ve missed myself. The past few months have been something. Can’t say that it’s been all bad or good, just something. I was in a dysfunction relationship and it was a distraction, but that’s over now! I won’t even give you all the gory details of it, I’m just happy to have made it through.
On another note, as some of you may know, I’ve been back in Houston from LA for roughly nine months now. A part of me wishes I were still in LA; however, I have to make decisions that are financially smart. The “smart” decision is to stay in Houston a while longer and get more established in my career – making connections, building my portfolio, etc – and then I’l be able to go anywhere in the world and be okay and do the things that really interest me.
Somehow, through that troubling relationship, I managed to finish my Master’s degree in Education (GO ME!!!). It took me four years, but I made it. The entire process reminded me of Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” There were many times I felt like giving up and quitting, but God never let me quit. I held on and believed that God would ge me through it and He did. I’m still trusting him to help me pay off that final balance, so if you feel led to donate, here’s the link: https://www.gofundme.com/zddd9sh9
I’ve been spending time in prayer and tuning in to what God really desires for me. Through it all, I trust him. There’s this song by Hillsong that say’s that exact same thing and declares, “It is well.”
I am just at a point to where I trust God to work everything out in my favor. We have to have a blind faith and I am at that point. I know that He is taking care of my finances, my career, my ministry, my businesses, my family, my relationships, and my prayer is that He is covering everyone who is reading this blogpost, as well.
Thanks to all the faithful readers and supporters. You’ll be seeing a lot of things from me this summer and as of today, justinjamaul.com is back in full effect.
